Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s that plonker from Courte Vallee who should know better!!! Well that’s one way to look at Alistair’s new found hobby of paramotoring - however those with a more generous and adventurous outlook may say – that looks fun! This came about when Alistair discovered that a local chap, by the name of Pascal Campbell-Jones, is one of the worlds leading flyers in this sport. After much pestering by A, Pascal agreed to take him up for a trial flight and the rest as they say is history. Alistair has done 5 solo fights now and is looking to buy his own paramotoring equipment soon. Alistair’s instructor Dean Eldridge runs a successful flying school in Spain but as Airvault is much more convenient to the UK he has agreed to run 2 beginners courses and 1 advanced course here this year. The first of theses popular courses took place in early April, the second is planned for September (dates TBC) and Alistair would love to hear from any interested campers! Costs are £1,200 for the 12 day course. We will be offering discounted pitch fees for course participants. Have a look at Pascal in action http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCAg7AW9_WI
